hi, i'm Emma
I’m a freelance senior filmmaker and video strategist working at the intersection of storytelling, culture, and emerging technology. I help brands, artists, and technology companies translate their ideas into compelling visual stories that connect with modern audiences.
With nearly a decade of experience across filmmaking, content strategy, and digital media, I combine creative direction with hands-on production to bring ideas to life from concept through to final delivery.
At Meta in Sydney, I worked with creators and brands to elevate their presence on Instagram and Facebook, developing high-impact social media content. My role involved producing video from concept to shoot, edit, and delivery, while experimenting with new formats and production workflows across live broadcast, produced assets, and hybrid production. This included exploring immersive storytelling and creative production in the metaverse using Oculus headsets.
Prior to Meta, I created original video content for artists at VEVO in London, producing culturally driven storytelling that connected music, visual identity, and audience.
Music has always shaped the way I think about storytelling. I’m interested in the relationship between sound, visuals, and narrative, and how these elements work together to create emotional connection in film.
I'm also particularly focused on exploring how generative AI is expanding filmmaking workflows, making content using tools such as Runway, Veo 3.1, and generative visual platforms to prototype visual concepts, develop storyboards, scripts and create experimental film sequences.
